Inside the community
We take seriously our responsibilities to others. There’s only one planet and we need to respect it. Here’s what we’re doing to make the world a better place
Natural Resources
Even as a service business, without large energy, chemical , raw materials or transport needs we can do things that make a difference.

We’re a “Responsible Business Member” of ORB – the Organisation for Responsible Business.
In practical terms this means we run highly fuel efficient vehicles, recycle extensively, have lowered our energy usage – especially for heating but also and plan journeys using use public transport and our own feet.
We’re also members of the Campaign for Rural England so that we can preserve what we cherish.
For People
To make the world better for people charities we have and continue to support include the British Heart Foundation (BHF), Amnesty International, Farleigh Hospice, St Clare Hospice, Mouth and Foot Painting Artists and the Royal British Legion.
But one charity in particular has our focus, The Autism Directory. My good friend Nadine’s boy Tommy was diagnosed which Autism at around 15 months. The stories Nadine tells of places where Tommy is just not welcomed make my blood boil! In the past year Nadine has been a whirlwind of action on behalf of those who are Autistic and their families. Her vision is to make society a more Autism friendly place. Put another way
“I can’t change Tommy for the world, but I can change the world for Tommy – and others like him”
.
Take a look at the video and you’ll see why we support her.
