Out in the cold
Visited a different location today of the health club chain that I belong to. Arrived 06:15 for a 6:30 open. To my surprise, instead of being allowed to await the opening in the lobby, we were told that we had to wait outside – dark, raining, windy. And the reason? We were told it was due to the insurance cover so stating.
How strange – this doesn’t happen at my ‘home club’ in the chain, nor others that I’ve visited. All have let us into the lobby. Now I can fully understand that there should be no members beyond that, but none in the lobby?
And, anyway, it’s not the insurance company that’s dictated the terms, it’s the company that hasn’t stated them. Ironic that turning up for Nuffield Fitness & Wellbeing we were met with a definite lack of wellbeing!
